Harmon Law Offices, P.C. is committed to giving back to its community through participation in local and national charities. Over the past few years, the law office and its staff have made contributions in support of the following charities.

Community Servings is a non-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. Community Servings gives their clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Their goals are to help their clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs. |

Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in Taunton, MA in 2004. They are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is their duty and their honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. |

Birthday Wishes is a non-profit organization that provides birthday parties for homeless children. Birthday Wishes was founded in Newton and now services over 175 homeless shelters in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Long Island NY. Their goal is to provide birthday parties to homeless children and to make their model available to homeless family programs nationwide. |

Following the tragic events that occurred at the Boston Marathon in April 2013, Harmon and its staff raised and contributed over $5,320 to the One Fund. |

The Sojourner House is a shelter that helps families, regardless of the gender, age, or citizenship status of the parents or children, transition from homelessness to affordable housing. Sojourner House is the first shelter of this kind to have opened in Boston and remains one of less than ten shelters in the state to offer housing for single fathers, in-tact families, and male children without age limits. Sojourner House also runs a community food pantry. |

In April 27 th 2013, the Harmon staff raised funds by contributing $5to wear their Red Sox gear to work in support of the WALK like MADD event in Boston. MADD’s signature walk event in over 60 cities around the nation, thousands of people will participate in 5K events to celebrate creating a brighter future without drunk driving and underage drinking. |

The Harmon community has regularly answered the call and raised funds for the Jimmy Fund. The Jimmy Fund solely supports Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, raising funds for adult and pediatric cancer care and research to improve the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. |
Harmon Employee Initiatives and Involvement
Harmon employees also like to get involved in their community. Harmon’s staff has been very generous in supporting their fellow employee’s efforts to bring attention and raise money for these very important causes.

Attorney Amie DiGiampaolo hits a home run for MADD
Congratulations to Amie DiGiampaolo for her fundraising efforts on behalf of MADD. Amie with the assistance of the Harmon community, her family and friends raise $2,065 for the annual WALK like MADD event held in Boston and in other places around the country on April 26, 2014. The 5K walk highlights the continuing problem of drunk driving and underage drinking. Harmon raised funds by allowing employees to wear jeans for a $5 contribution to this important cause. Amie is an associate in Harmon’s litigation department. . |

On October 7, 2012, Attorney Jason Giguere ran the Chicago Marathon in support of Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Bear Necessities is a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it. Jason has raised over $2,500 for this organization and completed the marathon in a personal best time. This was Jason’s second time running the Chicago Marathon. Congratulations Jason. | ![]() |
