Eric Borges is an attorney in Harmon's Closing Department where he handles REO closings on behalf of banks and large lending institutions. His duties include review of title examinations, foreclosure document s, REO deeds and Purchase and Sale Agreements along with assisting the closing department staff with title issue resolution or any issues that may arise in the closing process. Prior to joining Harmon Law Offices Eric practiced exclusively as a Real Estate Attorney. Eric has extensive residential real estate conveyancing and title examination experience. He also has experience with REO (bank real estate owned) sales and a thorough knowledge of the mortgage foreclosure process in Massachusetts. He conducted many residential real estate closings as counsel for mortgage lenders and represented buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of residential real estate. He also represented local and nationwide clients through the process of asset liquidation and has a general knowledge of mortgage foreclosure laws in the other New England States and New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, illinois, Michigan and parts of the West Coast.
